Bishop Daniel Boyd
Daniel E. Boyd, born on November 20, 1974, in Sumter, South Carolina, to Jackie and Joyce Boyd, graduated from Sumter High School in 1993 and served in the United States Army. He began his ministry on June 15, 1997, and was the Youth Pastor at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hinesville, GA, where he assisted numerous young people over the years.
In December 2009, Pastor Boyd founded Emmanuel Christian Church (ECC) in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where he has served as pastor for the last 15 years. The church has provided a place of worship for the local community, focusing on teaching the word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit with the theme “Loving God and His people by teaching them the word, by the power of the Holy Spirit”.
Under Pastor Boyd’s leadership, ECC has grown annually and purchased land for a new church building in 2017, completing the new sanctuary in March 2020. ECC operates with the vision of “Building the Kingdom of God one Person at a Time”. Bishop Boyd collaborates with area churches, schools, and organizations such as the Ministerial Alliance and the NAACP of Bryan County, and served on the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce Board. He is also the Chaplain for the Richmond Hill Fire Department and volunteers with the Richmond Hill MLK Observance Committee.
Pastor Boyd recently launched Lions Den Legacy LLC and was elevated to the office of Bishop on September 23, 2024. He published his first book, “Chicken Mentality vs Pig Mentality,” on October 2, 2024 and launched his personal body oil line for men named,”Legacy Oil.” Bishop Boyd holds a Bachelor of Theology from Integrity University, Dallas TX, and will receive an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism from Global International Alliance Advocate University ikn June 2025. In April 2024, he was nominated for the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his volunteer service.
Bishop Boyd is married to Elisha Jacobs of Gadsden, Alabama. They have two children, Danika and Nathaniel, and three grandchildren. Together, they support family and ministerial needs, aiming to “Build the kingdom of God” with the belief that “God is with Us”.
Co-Pastor Elisha Boyd
Co-Pastor Elisha Boyd leads the ECC Warring Women in the Women’s Ministry, where she preaches, teaches, trains, and encourages women to pursue their goals. She also plays a role in the intercessory prayer ministry. She supports teen girls through “Rising Queens,” a mentoring program she started several years ago.
Elder Boyd is a Combat Veteran who served her country for 13 years. Elder Boyd received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Columbia College in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. In May of 2017 she earned her Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling, with a concentration in Military Resiliency Counseling from Liberty University. She recently has been bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate from Global International Alliance Advocate University. She is a certified Professional Life Coach and CEO of Resilient Living, a life coaching service business, empowering women to especially female veterans to take back their lives after being exposed to sexual trauma and living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. One of her most cherished accomplishments was the launch of her first book, “Diary of A Mad First Lady” Lady Boyd accomplishments and community service landed her a featured article in Voyage ATL Magazine in 2018. She has had her own column for GodLock Magazine based in Atlanta called “Coaches Corner.” Lady Boyd most meaningful accomplishment, she has published her first book collaboration, “Warring Women Win.”
Her community involvement includes Family Promise, NAACP of Bryan County, Richmond Hill MLK Observance Committee Co-Chair, and served as a booster club parent for the Richmond Hill High School Lady Wildcats and Lady Legacy AAU basketball teams. She has founded several businesses, including Lisa’s Chimichangas, Joint Heirs Enterprise, and a t-shirt design business. Additionally, she is a Director III in a home-based business called Melaleuca the Wellness Company. She organized a Facebook community called Warring Women Win Sister Circle. Bishop Boyd and Lady Boyd have two children, Danika and Nathaniel Boyd.
Lady Elisha Boyd has been a guest on various radio stations and book tours promoting her message that “women have a voice that matters.” She hosts conferences and Vision Board training sessions. Her ministry has international reach, including hosting the “Warring Women Win Conference” in Vincenza, Italy, and launching a product line under the same name. She recently released her own oil line in September 2024 called “The Fragrance.” Co-Pastor Boyd received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in April 2024 and ordained as an Overseer in June 2024. She works for the Department of Veterans Health Administration, making a positive impact on the community and veterans.
